Interior design in Bramhall
1930s houses and new builds, designed for family life.
Bramhall is a wonderful place to design family homes, leafy, settled and full of generous properties, from characterful 1930s houses to large modern builds. These are homes made for everyday family life, and the best interiors here strike a balance between special and genuinely relaxed.
We work throughout Bramhall from our studio in nearby Hale, designing homes that are beautiful, hard-wearing and warm, and managing every stage so the whole project feels effortless from your side.

Homes in Bramhall
Made for the school run and the weekend
Most of Bramhall’s best houses went up between the wars, which means good bones at the front, bay windows, picture rails and generous proportions, and a back of the house that was never planned for the way families live now. That is usually where the work goes.
We keep what the house already does well and rework the rest, with joinery drawn into the alcoves, the boot room and the understairs, and finishes chosen for a household with children, dogs and homework on the island.
Why work with us
Designed for how Bramhall families live
Inter-war houses, opened up carefully
Many of Bramhall’s best homes were built between the wars. We keep the bay windows, the picture rails and the proportions at the front, and concentrate the bigger changes at the back where the kitchen and family space want to be.
Hard-wearing by specification
Fabric that survives a dog, stone that takes a hot pan, paint you can actually wash. We choose for the household rather than for the photograph, which is why these homes still look right years later.
Storage designed in, not added on
Bespoke joinery in the alcoves, the boot room and under the stairs, drawn to the exact wall so it reads as part of the house instead of furniture pushed against it.

Good to know
Interior design in Bramhall, your questions
Yes. We design full-service interiors throughout Bramhall and the surrounding areas from our studio in nearby Hale, from a single room to a whole-house renovation.
Yes, and it is most of what we do here. We specify for the household rather than for the photograph: fabrics that survive a dog, stone that takes a hot pan, and paint you can wash down. A home should relax you, not make you anxious about it.
Yes, and it is a common Bramhall brief. We keep the bay windows, the picture rails and the proportions at the front of the house, and put the bigger structural changes at the back where the kitchen and family space belong.
Wondering what a project costs, or how to begin? We set out how we work and what it costs in full, and you can tell us about your home whenever you are ready.
